I have a couple of different scooters, mostly used for fun, but the “real” reason for purchase is to have transport after a plane trip. The Varla excels at this mission. Great speed if desired, and very capable on hills and inclines. The suspension makes the scooter a pleasure to ride. On Eco mode, I have seen 30 miles easily in real world situations including hills and lots of stop and go. The scooter rack was a weekend project that may interest someone. The scooters are held in by padded aluminum caps, with stainless lockable closures. It makes for a fun ride to the ride in my case. The scooter fits easily in the back seat of a light plane for the ability to travel at the destination. The price is not negligible, but if you compare this scooter to others on the market, it really is a bargain.

I own this scooter for an one year. Very satisfied with it. I drive it in NYC to my job. Sometimes I need to drive 16 miles to a job in one way. Battery holds good. If I use to charges it charges it around 4 hours. It is very powerful scooter specially when turn on dual motors. I like it.

Love mine. It is super durable, I have 400+ miles on mine and have only have replaced the front rotor due to bending, but then again I use this scooter to ride on extreme terrains it was not intended for so under normal use this should not be a problem. Also with a simple upgraded front clamp on the pole to prevent any squeaks this scooter is one of the best.

This electric scooter has given me countless hours of fun. I have been able to explore so many new parts of the city I grew up in that I had no idea existed. This scooter gives a portable level of freedom to explore the streets or take to the trails. This is truly worth the money if you are looking for the best all around scooter on the market! My recommendations after purchasing the scooter are to watch YouTube videos on how to properly take care and do maintenance on your scooter. It will extend its life greatly. This hobby requires a bit of knowledge to stay safe and maximize the life of your purchase. I also recommend buying accessories that fit the needs for your riding habits like purchasing a brighter light for night riders or off road tires for those who wanna shred the trails. Despite this scooter being so awesome, There are some things that I find negative about both The scooter and Varla as a company. The scooter is built great, but alot of the screws are made of cheap metal and can strip easily. A good remedy for this is to buy a nice set of allen keys that are made of stronger metal than the tool that came with the scooter. That's my only complaint about the scooter. There are some things varla does that I find isn't using the best business practices. This scooter is not water proof, just water resistant so the pictures they use of people driving through muddy puddles is misleading. However, you can further waterproof your scooter yourself. I am also not a fan of the manual included, It could include alot more specifications and detailed instructions so I don't have to find my information third party. Finally, I feel like varlas assesories shop is way too overpriced for certain items. Deck hook -$50 USD. 1 new grip tape design - $50 USD. I understand they have a business to run but charging that much for a little piece of metal or some sticky sand paper is ridiculous. They also take forever to ship these items. In conclusion I highly recommend this scooter to someone that wants to take this hobby to the next level. I spent countless hours searching for the best scooter for me and this was the one!

Well.....had my first incident on my varla today....while trail riding I rounded a corner next to a tree an got yanked off my scoot by a support cable that was almost invisible in the brush...my scooter fell 30' down into a ravine...we fished it out..I reset my dashboard(in case it got shocked)....and proceed to ride the seven miles home.....this thing fell 30 feet and only got one scratch on the rear swingarm......amazingly tough...blisteringly fast(got mine modded..58mph)....best scoot I've ridden..bar none(I have 9...)...THANX VARLA...GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

Man I got to tell you I am blown away by the quality and design! I did the research for months, hemmed and hawed. Landed on the Eagle One. Addictive. The fun is non stop. Outstanding price for a high end performance scooter. Some of my take aways are; *Fantastic truly amazing handling. *Speed and range are as advertised, really fast! *The shocks and brakes are on the money. Very good quality. *I love how you can easily customize and literally upgrade. So far I've added a nice mirror, cup holder, stickers. **Very adjustable. Ordered off road tires. *Definitely practice! Wear safety gear! At least in the beginning. I put the Eagle on an egg crate then turned her on and did simulations. Learned the ins and outs, learning the mechanics and !!checking everything!!. Feel. Then the parking lot. In two days I was doing miles of pure fun. Speeds of up to 34 mph. It can go 40. *Similar to a sit inside kayak. You become one with the machine. ✓Easy to learn. ✓I love the speed, range, manuverableness, control. Then your going to get a lot of looks, comments, compliments, wtf's. The whole experience is an incredible amount of off the charts fun!

Everything works as advertised and I have had no problems. I use it as a daily commuter. Great in the city. I ride it 15 miles every day and have some rather steep hills to go up to get home. Love this scooter, I have ridden many miles and enjoy the heck out of it.

On roads be a very defensive rider, and don's go too fast unless it's safer to speed up in certain situations. Everyone remember that even low speed crashes can be very dangerous and even deadly. Always wear all protective gear including biking gloves and wrist sleeve braces so you can use your hands to protect you without getting road rash and breaking your wrists. Good helmet necessary and a full head and face protecting helmet is necessary for high speeds otherwise your face will be ground meat. Even with all these precautions it's never 100% safe sharing roads with cars. I was hit by a truck in the middle of an intersection, I had green light and walk sign and hit me while I was going 5mph. My helmet saved my life and protective gear saved me from breaking anything serious, a couple ribs and toes with concussion and a torn pec muscle. Some things are unavoidable but using bike paths and knowing which streets are safest helps. On the plus side my scooter is still perfect except some scratches and a flat back tire. I would have to say that surviving being run over by a truck and be in one piece still working fine I have to give it 5 stars lol

Careful when unboxing them. I'm 6'3" and 250 lbs and I was going up very steep hills like nothing. Already tore up the whole town!!! It's insane! I was flying! I have to say, this thing is the most fun I've had in a very long time!

My wife and I use these for casual riding and going to state parks. So far we are very impressed with the quality and ride. We get a lot of questions and interest every time we take them out in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. I also enjoy running mine at top speed. It's a blast! Very stable and solid. We've outfitted them with extra headlights and phone holders, etc. We also pull 2 Schwinn bicycle carts with no issues. They easily pull them filled with all our stuff. Very happy with my purchase. Just very slow delivery for everything. Other than that, we consider them a good buy.

Let me start by saying this I could not be happier with the staff and the scooter at varla. I've been riding this scooter in NYC for four months and I ride alot so I've had a few small issues with the scooter and let me say that the staff at varla have gone above and beyond for me. This scooter has to be one of the best scooters on the market for its price range I highly recommend anyone one big or small to buy and ride this scooter. No lie I have become almost obsessed with it lol I love it.

When I first open the box of the scooter I was very excited that I finally received my varla eagle one scooter been waiting for the past 3 weeks.. I must admit this scooter is extremely fast, Especially when you put it in mode three on single door mode. This thing takes off like a Porsche or Ferrari on two wheels. It very premium built and sturdy I didn't have any problems with this scooter. I live in Philadelphia which is the second biggest city on the East Coast I drove from South Philadelphia to center city in amount of 12mins. I have regular cars looking on the side of me any yell out the window what kind of scooter is that. I believe that this scooter is worth every penny every dollar and everyone that's interested in each scooters should get it equal one.

This scooter has amazing power. Went up 2.8 miles up the hill to the Meriden CT Castle Craig tower that sits 976 feet on top of a mountain. With my 200lbs. of weight and the scooter was maintaining a 22 mph speed no problem. After ran the entire Meriden CT valley and got home with 25% of the charge. Amazing, my nephew just ordered his after riding mine. The sit works for me when choosing to ride at high speed, it gives me more control. Varla Power!

Have owned it for 8 months now and have over 700 miles on it. Plenty of power. Plenty of range. After I got it, they just upgraded to hydro brakes, what my luck ah! I usually ride on eco mode unless there is a hill. My rides average around 15 miles but have gone 35 without worrying about running out of battery. I really like the peace while riding. And glad to see that new model pegasus, I'm gonna pull the trigger. And I have had a few customer service interactions over the phone as well as a couple email questions answered and I'm really happy with Varla's customer service.

Before purchasing the eagle, I was never had any use for an electric scooter. One day, seeing a man in the town whizzing past me riding his scooter, I started looking for a scooter that suits me. I saw the Varla then chose eagle one. It looks like sturdy, I'm 225lbs. And 40 mph, 2yr warranty, great customer service. So far so good! I am very happy with my choice!

Ever since I saw electric scooters on the street or road i always wanted to get one. I never try it before. Finally I went for Varla Eagle One, I absolutely love it! And it's so easy to operate. TBH, Very affordable. And the 2-year warranty I say its the best deal for your buck. If you're on the fence as we were of making the investment for a couple months, jump to the Eagle!

This scooter is perfect for my riding style. I'm 45 and 225lbs and use it camping, around town, and low impact trails. I've ridden a few scooters but they didn't compare to my eagle one.

I started thinking about riding to work again. But I didn't want to do the shower at work bit. Researched E-Bikes and E-Scooters, I decided on the Varla scooter because of its price and features. And it looks fun. I've had it three weeks and put 100 miles on it. Commuting on it has put more fun into going to work. I'm really glad I bought it.

The scooter is really great for the money. They are a good sturdy quality and with over 100 miles of travel in on it only 4 working days lol. I I don't have anything negative to say about them. It is so much bigger / faster than I expected.

I have had my Eagle for about 3 weeks. The weather hasn't been great but good enough for me to get out 4 or 5 times and I am having so much fun on my new scooter. And couldn't stand for waiting for the bus and subway any more! I can commute to work without getting all sweaty. Love it!

I first Bought a Segway E4 scooter, though was fun for a week. I knew I needed something faster and strong due to be being a stout Fella and the Segway struggled on grades with me. On my first ride I knew I made the right choice in the Varla Eagle one Scooter. it has been a great experience riding it. it does exactly what I want it to do. The suspension is just right! Good Job Varla.

I live in a very hilly area and the Eagle has more than enough power to fly up the hills!!! Can't believe it can hit 40 mph. Also the battery holds its charge really well. I picked an extra charger as my gift, the charging time only half of the original! I really didn's expect the eagle to perform this well and I am so glad I chose the eagle over other scooters that I had researched. I couldn's be more pleased with the performance of my eagle or Varla store that I purchased it from. Great experience all around!!!

Love my new scooter eagle one. I received it for 2 months and ride it every day. Glad that I bought it. When I am riding it, get many compliments from others. Plus, what a well thought out design overall. Hydro brakes, dual motor, and many more features. Also the ride quality is so good because it has dual suspension. Besides, I bought one seat, i don's get tired even a long distance of ride.

The scooter is a blast. The speed can up to 40 mph, it is the best way to cruise around town and it rides so smooth and quiet! Love it!The winter weather has reduced my riding time though, I had an off-road ride last week. Put it on my car truck, and I could explore the hill further than before. It can ride up to 40-degree hills! Exceeded expectation! So much fun!Overall the right quality and the fun of riding the scooter is everything I hoped for and more. What a great investment that we enjoy using.

When I was a kid, I could ride my scooter everywhere I want and never get too tired to ride more. When I got the scooter, I'm like a kid again, couldn't wait to hop on and hit the trails. It's fast and can reach 40 mph! So much fun to ride! Also, I am happy to say that this is a very comfortable scooter to ride. I have 200 miles in just a few days. Very impressed with the distance I can go before charging again. In addition, the 2-year warranty makes me assured. Enjoy exploring the city via scooter. It's everything I expected and a good value for the price!

It was packaged very well and everything was in good shape. I'm happy with the suspension, the acceleration. Everything is perfect. What impressed me more was the ride quality. How can I start this. I ordered my Varla eagle one on Black Friday it took a while to come that's the only bad thing about Varla it took a while to come but the scooter does not take a while to shoot down the block around the corner and where you have to go. I love my scooter it has front and back suspension, the wheels are big, the hydraulic brakes are crazy, the deck is very big, very wide, the battery last forever places I went with my first scooter I could go 4,5 times the trip without charging the second scooter. the Acceleration on Dual Motor Is Mind blowing. I outspeed cars going 25 miles an hour on the street its crazy. Regular moped Delivery Drivers, leave them in the dust. This Summer let A Dirt Bike Race Me In NYC I'm Dusting Them The Price Is Right And The Accessories They Add In The Box With The Scooter Can's Hate. Two Charging Ports For Half The Charging I use Both Charging Ports When Charging And I Feel Like It Definitely Boosts The Acceleration When I Do That Instead of Charging With Only One Charger. I Didn's Like the stiff Thing The front wheel Does But It's There To Help Keep The Wheel Straight Forward When accelerating at high speeds. I always be on the eco-mode I went on turbo one time almost died lesson learned don's go Eco mode gear 3 full throttle and then click turbo while all that is in affect. I got the wiggles but was able to keep it from losing control got off turbo real quick slow down. Back to eco continue my trip. It's not a toy but it is a toy be careful.

Electric scooter is the new way of transportation. It's fun and fast at the same time. With Varla Eagle One, it meets your needs and speed and quality and price. Best customer service as well. Theres always a response for every question asked. I love my scooter though I'm the only one who has a scooter in my town. It catches people's attention always. I've had encouraged my friends to get one so hopefully by summer we will have a gang of pev riders.

This scooter is exactly what I was hoping for, and so much more. Big thanks to the Varla team and their customer service! I enjoy commuting on this every day because it's just so enjoyable to ride, and it's been nothing but reliable. I can easily get the top speed of 40mph. I easily get 30 miles out of a single charge. I think if I went slower that I could easily get 40 miles range they claim! But I honestly haven's tried that because I often can's keep myself from going faster since it's so fun. Lol Overall It's awesome, fast, and reliable. I would totally recommend it to all my friends!

I purchased the Eagle One because I'm a large guy, they call me Gorilla. I shopped around a lot and found there were no others with dual 1000 watt motors near this price. This scooter is comparable to $3000 rides. My first test ride was 8 miles to my favorite Tiki Bar and it was amazing! Barely touched the battery. The acceleration and power were suprising. I like to cruise at 15 to 20 mph but the extra power with Turbo is fun too. I'm looking forward to many adventures and videos for my Youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/ppggorilla

I absolutely love my Eagle One! I have many hills in my area and it handles them no problem. I'm a big guy and I am 6'3, 240 lbs. The suspension is brilliant, so the ride is smooth and fast. And this scooter gets me up to speed quick! The only complaint I would have is that it takes a long time to charge, I am considering buying one charger to shorten the time. But overall everything else is great!

I can't tolerate that I can't find a rental scooter when I need it. So, I decide to buy one. After I have Varla Eagle One, I can go anywhere I want more easily. I've been using this almost daily for 1 week. Assembly +it is easy to fold and unfold. They use simple locking clamps. It looks and feels secure. And it takes me about 15 seconds to fold it down +the scooter's frame and welds look and feel high quality Riding + it's fun to ride, well balanced, and easy to control + the speed on this scooter is good but not dangerous fast. I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs and I was able to get up small hills no problem. + it will stop going forward when tightening the brakes, it's like the brakes on a car or motorbike that responds instantly, so it makes me feel safe + in my test it lasted about ~44 miles, slightly more than the advertised on relatively flat ground - it takes almost 6 hours to charge, to be honest, a little bit longer for me... Overall, this is a great scooter that's fun to use and easy to set up. In this price range, you won't find anything better built or faster.

What can I say about my Eagle One Varla scooter…
My closest friends thought me a fool, when considering the price, and what it does.
And I stopped him,”Nah, nah, nah, nah, let us just see what is to come… let’s just see what we get…”
    And they all agreed…
It seemed like forever for them to arrive via mail, but it really wasn’t. I think I waited all but a week-a week and a half for it’s arrival from the date of purchase.
It was a simple set up taking all but 15mins to set both up completely.
I called over the naysayers, and upon reveal, their jaws dropped! They couldn’t conceptualize from the pictures online just how large, well designed, user friendly, and just cool AF looking they would be.
I’ve had mine not more than a couple days. First, I went for a romantic ride on bike trails with my lady love, after telling her a surprise was coming, and it delivered and then some. It was a comfortable, fun ride just at a beautiful dusk, and her and I were swept away and intoxicated by the no added freedom in a smooth ride that feels more like flying. I scourge the day this become mundane, I hope I never lose this what I think I could only call twidderpation.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a crush on a machine before, and gotta say it feels weird, and impossible to not experience.
The next day, I needed to find someone that owed me money…
    You can’t hide from me…
The Eagle One Varla scooter has upped my game as a ninja…it’s been hard to be humble about it…been then I have NO choice, I didn’t make this amazing, sexy, sophisticated, efficient machine, Varla did…
…but I was savy enough to see it and jump on it.
If what I’ve said isn’t convincing enough, I’ll tell you the applications of this amazing machine are limitless. Think about a neighborhood needing to find a child that has been kidnapped, you don’t think speed and stealth would be a viable commodity in such a situation.
Give Varla your $, who knows what sexy and new innovative machine they’ll give us next, whatever the hell it is, I’m on board.
In the meantime, I will be mounting a horse head (not real), with a torch built in, so he breathes fire, great for any smoke out in obscure places, and of course not attached, just placed. I would never alter their product, and would offer my services to Varla as a ninja to help punish anyone who does…
The horses name will be Bruce Lee Schwarzenegger…
    Pics and videos to come…
They also have great customer services, they’ve been really solid by me.

…shit, I feel like I’ve understated the value of this scooter…
…and damn them for letting us have only up to 5✨

I got this for my son who had a Turboant X7 Pro. He liked that scooter except that it did very poorly on hills. He charged the battery and went for a ride on his new Eagle One scooter. He came back grinning from ear to ear and said that he loves his new scooter and that the Turboant is a toy compared to the Eagle One.
Disregard my other review concerning a complete Fedex screwup. I couldn’t find a way to edit or delete that review.

Can’t review because my scooter is touring the country with Fedex and there is no way to contact Varla. Their phone number is not in service. Varla’s contact us Submit a request form is broken and they don’t list their e-mail.

The battery is more than enough and I never have anxiety over my battery lasting on long drives. Riding during the day is a blast.

I received my order quickly and the communication on the order status was excellent. I have ridden the scooter a few times and it looks like it’s every bit as good as advertised!
